An Appeal to Devotees
Thanks to all of your donations and fundraising efforts, we are enjoying the benefits of our renovated and expanded building. The Temple now has three times the amount of space for praying, religious discourses, religious concerts, dining facilities, classrooms and an outside playground for our children, and plenty of parking surrounded by beautifully installed landscaping.
While we have been enjoying the benefits of our renovated and expanded building, it is time to take the next step of PAYING OFF THE BANK LOAN. Every month that goes by, more and more interest is being charged. It has been hard to pay off the loan since most of the donations that are collected go to pay the regular expenses of running the temple, which has more than DOUBLED since the expansion.
The Temple is a vital part of our community - it enriches our lives culturally, religiously and imparts religious values in our children. We urge every community member to take responsibility and take OWNERSHIP in the growth and beautification of our Temple. We respectfully urge every devotee to donate AT LEAST 2% of their annual income every year. It is the responsibility of each and every devotee to share in the care and improvements of the Temple, as the Temple belongs to ALL OF US.
Donations to the Temple are fully tax deductible. Please make checks payable to India Cultural Foundation (ICF). Complete the enclosed sponsorship form and mail it with your check in the enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope.
